Monday, a group of Local 1650 members joined other teachers, nurses, school workers, UAW workers, teamsters and others in the labor movement for the annual Labor Day March in Detroit. Former President Bill Clinton led the March.

Afterwards the marchers form Local 1650 visited American Coney Island for some social time. Consider joining us in 2017 if you plans allow. Families are welcome to join the marcher and the post-march meal. Thanks to Eric Gackenbach, Steve Glazer, Geraldine Grunow, Nahla Haidar, Randy Knight, Diane Mancinelli, John McDonald, Jeff Morford, Eric Rader, and their guests for marching.
